This Saturday (May 17) will see the Fisherman's Cup final take place on the Royal Oak.
This year's final will see holders Chase Lane take on All Saints' for the right to be crowned the district's primary schools' cup champions.
Kick-off is at 10.30am with entry free.
The tea hut will be open before kick-off and during the game to provide hot and cold food, plus drinks. Cash payments only.
Chase Lane will be bidding to complete a treble having already won the Harwich Primary Schools' League and last autumn's indoor five-a-side tournament.
They saw off St Michael's, Wix & Wrabness and Spring Meadow (after extra time) to make the final, while All Saints' defeated Mayflower (4-2) and Ardleigh (3-0).
Many past and present Harwich and Parkeston players, including this season's promotion winners Luke Mayhew and Joe Knight, have contested the final in years gone by and so the usual big crowd may well see a future Shrimper on show.
Good luck to all those involved – the club hopes you enjoy your day at our 127-year-old ground!
