The social club is a members-only club, although members are able to sign guests in. It contains a number of TV screens showing all major sporting events. It also has the usual bar gaming facilities such as pool, darts, juke box, gaming machines and quiz machine. On match days (football, pool, darts, crib, carpet bowls) the social club allows all visiting team members their supporters and match officials access and full use of all facilities.

There is also a large function hall, the Shrimpers Lounge, which is capable of holding up to 100 people. This can be hired for private parties, dances, anniversaries, birthdays etc, including children's, at a very competitive cost of £50, plus a deposit of £50. The latter is refundable providing here has been no damage caused to the club or ground and that the hall is returned in its original condition (ie clean and tidy). Annual membership charges are as follows: £8 single, £12 family, £5 OAP.
