As we head towards the halfway point of the season, we felt it was the right time to thank you for the support you've given us and for welcoming us to your club. When we came to Harwich, we knew what a big club we were joining. What we didn't know was what a big family we were coming into.
The support from all the volunteers has been unbelievable. From Mark physio, Abby in the tea hut, Danny with the team sheets and matchday admin, Tony S for doing the kit with help from Terry, Andy on the gate, Andy the secretary, taking call after call from Mike, Carl for help with programme notes, Terry and Norman for selling and donating raffle prizes every game, Keeley and the girls behind the bar and Gavin and the boys in the reserves. Everyone has been there for us right from the start. Without this support, our job would be a lot harder.
As well as the volunteers, the support and backing from Tony and Chris has been unbelievable. Whenever we need one of them, they've been there for us, always giving us 100% backing. As a management team, we couldn't ask for anymore.
Finally, the biggest thank you has to go to you, the fans. Since we arrived in June, you have been right behind the side. There were 300 here for the Holland game, 240 for the Brightlingsea match and over 200 for the Halstead game. At most of our away games, you've outnumbered the home fans. We are truly grateful for your support. We always said and still say that this season is about establishing the side at step six level. With your support, we feel we're well on target to do that this year.
We head into the Christmas period now with four big games, starting this week against Hashtag. If you're free, we'd love to see as many of you as possible supporting the boys over the Christmas period. We are also hopefully running a coach to White Ensign. Please see information at the Hashtag game, if you'd like to travel.
